Tidbits about Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] are coming out thanks to an interview from Famitsu. The game’s tagline is "the light within the darkness and the light that falls into darkness" and "those that sleep with sorrow within" is another key phrase the magazine mentions. Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] follows Sora and Riku as they take the Mark of Mastery exam.

The Grid, a world based on the film Tron Legacy, is one of the new areas in the game. At first, the Kingdom Hearts team planned for Sora to visit the original Tron world from Kingdom Hearts II and Riku would go into the Tron Legacy world. Both characters will visit The Grid in the final game. Since Donald and Goofy do not use keyblades you won’t be able to play with them in Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance].

Dream Eaters are your companions in this game and there are more than 50 types. Famitsu also confirms Dream Eaters like Wonder Nyan can evolve too. In the interview, the team (Nomura?) says the game’s length is about 35 hours, more if you play the mini-games.

Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] comes out on March 29.
