There are four Soul Hackers 2 pre-order outfits in the pack. One outfit, the “Phantom Suit” changes Ringo’s appearance to resemble that of Joker. Another, the “Pirate Armor” changes the appearance of the character Arou to resemble Skull. The “Red Rubber Suit” allows the character Milady to take on Panther’s aesthetic, and the “Prince Suit” changes the character Saizo into an outfit resembling Crow’s. The pack also includes a background music setting that changes the Soul Hackers 2 battle theme to “Keeper of Lust” from the Persona 5 soundtrack. Finally, the pre-order pack throws in an accessory that improves critical hit rate.

Players with some yen to burn can also pre-order the Soul Hackers 2 25th Anniversary Edition. It’s a limited boxed release commemorating both the release of Soul Hackers 2 and the 25th anniversary of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. Besides the game itself, the 25th Anniversary Edition includes a figure of the game’s mascot, the Jack Frost-like Ai Ho-kun. A three-disc soundtrack containing both original compositions and rearrangements of Soul Hackers music is bundled. The included 100-page Soul Hackers 25th Anniversary Book includes staff interviews, a Soul Hackers “Visual Story” feature, art, and other material. Some DLC is also included, like Ai Ho-kun DLC, and a maid outfit that dresses up Ringo to look like Soul Hackers character Mary.

The Soul Hackers 2 25th Anniversary Edition is exclusive to PS4 and PS5 in Japan, as the Xbox and PC editions are digital-only releases there. The pack costs 17,380 Yen (about $152 USD).

Soul Hackers 2 will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC, on August 25, 2022 in Japan and August 26, 2022 in North America and Europe. An updated port of the original Soul Hackers is available on the Nintendo 3DS.
