Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is portable Soulcalibur and a Soulcalibur tutor. The PSP game includes a training mode with over eighty exercises to master. Now you can refine your Soulcalibur IV prowess on a road trip.
Mechanics like equipment destruction, soul crushes, and instakill critical finishes from Soulcalibur IV found their way into Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. Namco Bandai promises more than twenty “unique” characters will be in the game and you’ll get to customize all of them with the character creation tool. Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will have ad-hoc versus play, but unlike Tekken 6 an infrastructure supported ghost battling feature was not announced.
Two other things about Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny to ponder about: the game has an all new single player mode and “brand new fighters”. Who are these new contenders? Cameos from Tekken 6 or another Namco Bandai series? We’ll find out when Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny comes out this summer.
