The Square Enix collaborations continue! This time, Square are teaming up with Mastiff to release an online PC game: The Great Outdoors.

If you haven’t heard of Mastiff before, they’re the company that released a bunch of hunting games on the Wii. They also published La Pucelle: Tactics on the PlayStation 2.

The Great Outdoors is lets you live the outdoor life, either alone or with other players. You can go hunting, fishing and camping, and indulge in archery, exploration and photography. Square Enix say that the game will have a “constantly evolving world” online.

The Great Outdoors is being developed jointly by Mastiff and Icarus studios, and Square Enix will be publishing the game for PC in 2012.
