We just got out of the Square-Enix press conference and they announced Final Fantasy XIII as a Playstation 3 exclusive. We got a look at the game and it has a female lead character designed by Tetsuya Nomura. The game also has an all new battle system with menus on the right hand bottom side, but we only got to see the main character in action casting a few spells. The world is high tech, but there are traditional FF magic spells like “blizzard” and “aero”. Here’s the big news Final Fantasy XIII doesn’t come alone. Final Fantasy XIII has a cell phone game called Final Fantasy XIII: Agito set in Akademia. This game is part of the Final Fantasy XIII universe, but it has an all new story line. Also announced is Final Fantasy XIII Versus designed by the team who did Kingdom Hearts 2. This trailer showed no in game footage, but it had a robed man in black who looks similar to an Organization XIII member on a throne. As he steps out side soldiers dressed in knight armor begin shooting at him with the mysterious man summons swords around him. Final Fantasy XIII Versus is also announced for the Playstation 3. We’re going to bring you guys a lot more details about the conference including pictures, media and so forth. So hang tight!
