Stair Quest is an homage to old adventure games, but with a humorous, if vicious, focus on how frustrating to was to climb stairs in those games.
Players can act as Sir Devon or Princess Ingrid in Stair Quest, tackling tiny sets of stairs as they climb their way to find the Orb of Stars, the only thing that can cure their land’s troubles. Players will have to carefully tap left, right, up, and down in order to gently guide their character along the path, lest they tumble to their deaths as many players have in the adventure games of old.
Like early adventure games, Stair Quest uses EGA graphics, as well as a command system that can follow one thousand different instructions. The game also features an in-depth instruction manual filled with lore and secrets to help the player succeed.
