The regular price for Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K & Full HD Remaster is 3,024 yen, but from now through December 12 there’s a 10% discount to put it at 2,721 yen in Japan. Furthermore, those who purchase the game on PSN through January 8 will get a special PS4 theme and avatar set.
The original game ran at 720p, but the new remaster will support up to 4K resolution on PS4 Pro and in full-HD for standard PlayStation 4s. In addition to various visual configurations it’ll come with trophy and share function support on PS4.
Meanwhile, the PC version will be available on Steam, making it the very first Star Ocean game to release on PC. In addition to various resolution options, it’ll support mouse & keyboard as well as controllers on PC. There will also be feature on PC that removes UI for taking better screenshots.
