Street Fighter 6 Emergency Maintenance Begins, 2 Rashid Moves Returning

Capcom made two announcements regarding Street Fighter 6. One is more imminent. The other we’ll see later. First, Street Fighter 6 emergency maintenance just began. That is expected to last two hours and end at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST on July 10, 2023. The other has to do with the first DLC character. Two of Rashid’s moves from Street Fighter 5 will return for this installment.

The Street Fighter 6 emergency maintenance is designed to fix two issues. One is to deal with the Lucky Days and make sure they appear. The other is to ensure people can get the Fighting Pass things they earn by playing. It began at 8am PT/11am ET/3am BST.

As for the two Street Fighter 5 Rashid moves, Eagle Spike and Spinning Mixer will be back. Eagle Spike was a special attack with standard, air, and dash variants in the previous game. Likewise, Spinning Mixer had a variant “dash” option.

Street Fighter 6 is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Rashid DLC will appear on July 24, 2023. The game will also eventually appear in arcades.
