Capcom announced a plan to bring classic fighting games to arcades with enhanced features like NESiCAxLIVE support. Street Fighter III: Third Strike will be the first re-release and it comes out in Japanese arcades today.

 

This version of Street Fighter III: Third Strike records a player’s points to their NESiCAxLIVE profile and shows move lists on the screen’s borders. There are six additional colors you can use by holding start and pressing button. An example of those colors are shown above.

 

Hyper Street Fighter II, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Darkstalkers 3 are due for an arcade re-release later this year too.
