Pesto Games, creator of Abobo’s Big Adventure, has released a cute action-RPG called Super Chibi Knight onto Steam Early Access for Windows and Mac.

It’s about a girl who goes on a monster-slaying adventure around the Kingdom of Oukokou, learning spells from sorcerers as well as training in the art of beast riding as she goes.

Pretty typical action-RPG stuff, then. However, it’s designed and voiced by Bella Pasto, the eight-year-old daughter of Nick Pasto who has coded the game.

Bella has drawn up concepts for the monsters, gives her likeness to the main character, and also voices the main character with “He-yah!” and “Wah-cha!” when swinging the sword.

Super Chibi Knight had a successful Kickstarter earlier this year and is currently and two thirds complete. It’s available for $9.99 on Steam right now. More information is available on the game’s website.
