Omega Strike pits players against the soldiers, cyborgs, mutated animals, and huge war machines of Doctor Omega across seven interconnected areas. Taking cues from the lighthearted look of games like Metal Slug, these foes will all look a little bit silly and fun, but will still offer a high challenge for careless players.

Omega Strike features multiple routes through its maps, as well as hidden places that will offer players new abilities and weapon upgrades should they use the right fighter and moves to reach them. This is why it is useful to be able to switch between Sarge, Bear, and Dex, the game’s three playable characters, as each has their own attacks and mobility-based moves, so they all offer unique ways to tackle a given area. It will be up to the player to decide when best to use each one.
