Bandai Namco shared more information on Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet’s character creation system, an introduction to two new heroines from the game, and details on your supporting AI characters, and more in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]   As previously reported, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will allow players to customize their own avatars.  Options includes everything from neck thickness to hip-size, and customization options for just about every body part.   That said, having a customized avatar also means you won’t be “Kirito” as the protagonist, and that’s how the story progresses.   Here are two new heroines revealed for the game:

  • Zeliska (CV: Mamiko Noto): A quiet girl with a soft demeanor. A talented player.

  • Kureha (CV: Ayane Sakura): The protagonist’s childhood friend who is always willing to help people. She’s the one who gets the protagonist into Gun Gale Online.

In addition to having customized avatars for the player character, you’ll also get the option to change appearances and gender for your supporting AI human known as AvaSys. The AvaSys characters will help out in battle and assets.   Lastly, the magazine revealed that Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Silica, and Lisbeth will appear in the game with original costumes.   Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet releases worldwide in early 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Siliconera recently caught up with the game’s producer Yosuke Futami, who talked about how they decided to make it into a third-person shooter.
