Bandai Namco announced a new Sword Art Online VR game called Sword Art Online VR: Lovely Honey Days for smartphones that will let you go on dates with Asuna through the perspective of Kirito.

Bandai Namco lists the game’s genre as “VR Adventure That Lets You Experience A Sweeeet Life With Asuna” that basically lets you experience going on VR dates with Sword Art Online heroine Asuna through the VR App.

In the app, you’ll take on the role as Kirito and and enjoy various communications with Asuna across its seven situation stages that include “Beach,” “Hot Springs, “Quest,” and more. If you play your communication game right, you can do “this and that” with Asuna and watch “these kinds” of scenes. The choices you make in the communication parts for each scenario affects the ending.

The “Relax Mode” allows you to take pictures of Asuna at any time during your communications, where you’ll get to see more of her expressions and gestures that she only shows Kirito.

When you’re not hanging out with Asuna in VR Mode, you’ll still get to communicate with her through “Chat Mode” where you can chit-chat or decide where to go on your next date in VR Mode.

You can check out some footage from a recent event in the above video, although one scene in particular doesn’t appear to be a date scene, well, unless that’s just one of those parts about Asuna that only Kirito seems to know. Bandai Namco will share more on that later.

Sword Art Online VR: Lovely Honey Days releases in 2018 for iOS and Android. It’ll be free-to-try with its first episode being free, and its episodes 2 through 7 will cost money. Pre-registration is available here.
