Swordplay with the Wii remote in the Destiny of Zorro

505 Games who is known for publishing Atlus releases and the Simple 2000 games in Europe announced that they picked up the Destiny of Zorro for the Wii. Players take on the role of Zorro in 1800’s Spanish California where they battle Calavera, fight a mob boss and discover the origins of the masked hero. Probably the most interesting thing about Zorro’s Wii game is the control scheme. The remote can be used like a sword and players can do Zorro’s traditional Z slash move too. 505 also mentioned that Zorro will have a whip, but a control scheme has not been specified. The Destiny of Zorro still has awhile before the final version ships in late 2007. That should give Pronto Games plenty of time to clean up the graphics, which look awful at this point.
