Tabletop RPG Creators Turn To Action RPGs With Anima: Gate Of Memories

Anima: Gate of Memories, a third-person action RPG available now on Steam, Xbox One, and PS4, was created by the developers of the Anima: Beyond Fantasy line of tabletop RPG books.

Anima: Gate of Memories takes players to the Gaia world from the tabletop books, having them play as Ergo and The Bearer, two beings tied together in their quest to purge the world of darkness. Players will control both of them, switching from one to the other in mid-attack to create combos that span both characters’ movesets.

Each of the character’s skills can be enhanced through the game’s customization system, giving them an array of player-chosen abilities to use against the game’s big bosses and enemies. Combat isn’t the game’s only focus, as the developers have laid out the world of Gaia for players to explore, seeing its locations and combing them for secrets.
