Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is a tactical game that will let players very carefully shape their troops, letting them choose classes, sub-classes, and equipable abilities in order to create the generalized fighters or specialized warriors they need to win in isometric combat.

Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark promises a twisting story filled with unique characters, much like the game’s inspirations, Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. The developers don’t go into great detail on what this story entails, save that it stems from the player’s role as an Arbiter – part of an order dedicated to maintaining peace and order throughout the land.

Players will find themselves in combat often, using story characters and their own custom-made fighters to crush their foes in grid-based combat. Players can choose from familiar classes like knights and wizards, but they can further customize their characters with subclasses that offer abilities from other classes, as well as passive abilities that will let them form their own unique fighters. By carefully selecting exactly what they want their fighters to be able to do, players can shape every aspect of their team, rather than be stuck with a class’ inherent powers.

Players looking to carefully tweak every aspect of their team will be able to do so sometime in 2018.
