Kid Icarus: Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS has augmented reality features. Nintendo teased the feature at their E3 media briefing yesterday, but the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai, is giving followers a closer look on his Twitter feed.

Here’s a look at the augmented reality cards that Kid Icarus will use.

Next up is Pit and what looks like one of the party member knights from the game’s multiplayer mode, which we posted details of yesterday:

Only a few cards were shown at E3, but Kid Icarus: Uprising will have 20 different cards. Amidst all the character cards, I can see cards for claws, a cannon and a what looks like a bow.

Like many other Nintendo 3DS games, Kid Icarus: Uprising is planned for release this holiday.
