In Dark Souls II, you’ll be fighting evil, entering dangerous dungeons, and facing some horrifying enemies. If it’s anything like the first game, you’ll be dying. A lot. So, why not look good and go out in style? Famitsu gives us a look at some of the character customization options.
Before starting your journey, you’ll need to make your character. The above is a look at the character creation screen, where you’ll be making your appearance configurations. The identity and gift tab is where you’ll be making your selections that will have an effect on your early game status and items, along with where you’ll manage your gifts.
Similar to the first game, the “gifts” will give you a temporary advantage when you start Dark Souls II. There are eight different items such as the Ring of Life, Articles of Healing, Giant’s Seed, and more. These items can be acquired in the game, so you don’t have to worry about needing to purchase DLC to get them.
Next is the body selection, where you’ll be making your choice of gender, or whether you’d like to have a normal or ripped body. According to the report, you can even make a “macho girl,” if that’s your thing!
The facial customization part will be similar to Dark Souls, where you’ll be making various adjustments to parts like your hairstyle and eyebrows. Once you have your macho girl prettied-up, you’ll be good to go!
Dark Souls II will be released on March 13, 2014 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in Japan.
