In Tales of Crestoria, we’ll meet several characters from the Tales of series that are living as residents in the game’s world. For example, Cress Albane from Tales of Phantasia:
Cress Albane (CV: Takeshi Kusao|Design: Kosuke Fujishima)
In Tales of Crestoria, Cress runs a sword dojo in Dachia village. He’s a responsible individual who can be relied upon by just about everyone in the village. He protects the village from enemies living in the nearby forest, and is also Kanata’s master in swordsmanship, and is addressed as “Cress-sensei” or Master Cress.
As for the battle system, Tales of Crestoria uses a turn-based battle system where you take up to four characters into combat with your party. When all members of the party perform their actions, it becomes the enemy side’s turn.
You can deal more damage with a higher number of hits. That means you can have characters work together to add to the number of hits for increased damage. In addition to Artes that are special abilities with recast, there’s an OL (Over Limit) system where you fill up a meter used to perform special Mystic Artes.
Lastly, here’s a closer look at the 3D models of Misera and Vicious:
