Bandai Namco filed the trademark for Tales of Luminaria in Europe on October 13, 2020. We still don’t know any details other than what appears to be the title. In any case, there’s a chance that we might hear more at Tales of Festival 2020 this March. The event was initially expected to occur in June but delayed to March 6-7, 2021, due to COVID-19.

It’s worth noting that with the developers currently working on the next mothership title in Tales of Arise, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see Tales of Luminaria end up being a smaller title or something for smartphones. Bandai Namco launched Tales of Crestoria in July and currently has Tales of the Rays in Japan for smartphones. While Tales of the Rays still remains available in Japan, the global version shut down in May 2018.

As for Tales of Arise, is in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Back in June, Bandai Namco delayed its initial 2020 release window to an undetermined date due to COVID-19. In the meantime, check out its latest trailer from TGS 2019 here.
