Tales of Zestiria’s Rose Can Also Fuse With Seraphs Like Sorey

We previously reported that Tales of Zestiria’s Rose is a cheerful and lively girl, who shares a deep connection with the Seraph. According to this week’s issue of Jump magazine, it looks like the connection is actually deeper than we thought. [Thanks, @Kazu4281.]

Jump reports that Rose will also become an official member of your party,and similar to the protagonist, Sorey, she’ll be able to fuse with Seraph party members through the Kamui ability.

Namco say that she’ll normally fight using twin daggers, but her weapon will change when fused with a Seraph.

The magazine also introduces some of the characters from her caravan guild called “Wagtail’s Wing” with characters like Roche, Aiguille, En Fil, and En Tremets. As usual, names are subject to change upon localization.

Tales of Zestiria will release in Japan on January 22, 2015 for PlayStation 3.
