The announcement did not explain the reason for the closure of Teasing Master Takagi-sanKyunkyun Records. The management team apologized to fans for the suddenness of the announcement. The premium “Olive” currency, the in-game Kyunkyun Passport, and Ad Skip Tickets will be sold until January 31, 2023, after which no premium purchases will be possible. However, players have until the same date to earn any remaining rewards left on the current Kyunkyun passport. A battle pass-like system, the Kyunkyun passport will become inaccessible after January 2023, including any unearned rewards.

The Kyunkyun Records game is a hybrid of daily life simulator and music game. Players will interact with Takagi and have her sing songs in karaoke style. They’ll also be able to purchase songs for her to sing, as well as clothes and accessories to dress her up in.
