Tekken 7 Input Lag Issues Explained And Being Patched

Recommended Videos

Since launch, people have discovered a bit of notable input delay in Tekken 7. On June 2, 2017, Nigel Woodall was reporting between seven and eight frames (120.1 milliseconds) of input delay. Katsuhiro Harada noted on Twitter that an update is coming and explains causes for the input delay.

Harada says Tekken version 1.03 was released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan last night and should begin appearing in other regions sometime today. He said that people who update should notice the input lag issue addressed. He also mentioned in this and another tweet that Unreal Engine 4 eating 3-4 frames and “certain wired pads” were a part of the issue.

Tekken 7 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
