FuRyu have been keeping busy. In addition to The Legend of Legacy, they’re also developing a Terra Formars game for the Nintendo 3DS, Japan’s Weekly Young Jump magazine reveals. (Thanks, Anime News Network)

Terra Formars is a manga series written by Yuu Sasuga and drawn by Kenichi Tachibana. The series tells a story set 500 years after scientists sent cockroaches to terraform the planet of Mars to make it inhabitable for human beings. However, when a manned ship from Earth finally lands on Mars, the crew is attacked by giant mutated cockroaches.

The 3DS game will be titled Terra Formars: Fierce Battle on the Crimson Planet and will have the player controlling Shokichi and other humans as they battle with Terraformar swarms on Mars. It’s scheduled for release Spring 2015 in Japan.
