NIS America announced that The Caligula Effect: Overdose, the updated version of the PS Vita RPG by Aquria, will release in North America and Europe this March. We also got a new trailer for its enhanced “Imaginary Chain” system.

In this world created by a sentient vocaloid program, μ (Mu), reality and fantasy has become blurred, allowing people to relive their high school years in bliss. Overdose is a remake made with Unreal Engine 4 with a major upgrade in visuals, double the scenario volume with a new “Forbidden Musician Route,” new characters with over 500 other students, and a brand-new female protagonist. Check our previous report for more on what else is new in the game.
The Caligula Effect: Overdose releases in North America on March 12, 2019 and in Europe on March 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The original game is currently available on the PlayStation Vita.
