The Denpa Men RPG Free! Reaches 1.8 Million Downloads On Nintendo eShop

The Denpa Men RPG Free! has been downloaded another 100,000 times since December, bringing total downloads to 1.8 million, Genius Sonority have announced.

This is the fourth game in the Denpa Men series of RPGs for the Nintendo eShop, but unlike the first three, it’s a free-to-play game with item purchases. Genius Sonority haven’t announced a Western release yet, but continue to update the RPG with new content in Japan.

Free-to-play games have become a more common occurrence on the 3DS in recent months. Other free titles of note are Nintendo’s Steel Diver: Sub Wars, Sega’s Initial D: Perfect Shift Online, and Square Enix’s Million Arthur game.
