The Elder Scrolls finally crosses boarders into Japan

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

After four games the Elder Scrolls series is finally going to be localized in Japan and Spike (they handle localizing the Tomb Raider series and made Necro Nesia for the Wii) are taking care of it. Spike is going to be localizing the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in to Japanese in 2007 and it might be an Xbox 360 exclusive in that region. This could be another push towards the Xbox 360’s purchases in Japan, since the Elder Scrolls IV has a fanbase even before this announcement. What’s strange is there has been a version of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that works on a Japanese 360, the Asian version (pictured to the right) works, but it’s in English.
