The Last Blade From SNK Cuts To Wii Virtual Console

After taking a long sabbatical, the Wii Virtual Console appears have returned to work these past few weeks. This week saw the release of another Virtual Console title: The Last Blade, an SNK fighting game for the Neo Geo. Similar to Samurai Shodown, you fight using weapons, but The Last Blade lets you select “Power” or “Speed” styles for every fighter. The game costs 900 Wii Points ($9).

 

Meanwhile, on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, we get Prince of Persia for the Game Boy Color. This game costs $5.

 

On the Nintendo eShop front, there’s one new game and one demo—Shin’en’s Art of Balance Touch for $7, and a free demo for Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

 

Finally, DSiWare sees two new releases this week as well—Cat Frenzy and Curling Super Championship. You can read about those here and here.
