The Last Remnant Hairstyles Are Coming To Final Fantasy XIV

Square Enix are tossing a reference to The Last Remnant into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In today’s patch 2.5 release, they’re adding a new hairstyle based on Rush Sykes from The Last Remnant. (Above)

 

Meanwhile, a second hairstyle based on Irina, Rush’s sister, will be added in a future patch. Here’s a look at Rush and Irina, in case you haven’t seen them before:

 

If you’re wondering what the reason behind this is, there’s actually a common link between The Last Remnant and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Hiroshi Takai, who directed The Last Remnant, is acting as assistant director on the MMORPG.
