Level 5 and Tri-Ace are working on a sequel to The Little Battlers eXperience for PSP, titled The Little Battlers W. The new game has two protagonists—Ban Yamano who returns from the first title, and newcomer Hiro Ozara. Level 5 recently released a trailer for the sequel, which you can watch below:

The Little Battlers W adds new features like Super LBX machines. These are formed by combining three other LBX machines together.
The Little Battlers W will be released for both PSP and PlayStation Vita on September 27th. Prior to that, Level 5 will release a newly updated version of the first game, The Little Battlers: Explosive Boost, for the Nintendo 3DS on July 5th.
