The Medium Gameplay Video Introduces Us to Sadness

After a slight delay, Bloober Team’s The Medium is finally on the way to help leave people scared and unsettled. But people still might wonder what it will look like in practice. It is a game where you’re seeing what happens with Marianne, the titular medium, in the real world and spirit realm. So, to make things clearer, there’s now a 14-minute long The Medium gameplay video to watch.

This clip begins with Marianne looking at a hotel where a massacre occurred while searching for someone named Thomas. While looking around a lobby, she happens a spirit called Sadness. Once the two meet, get to see the dual realities in action as she questions Sadness and tries to find out if the ghost could help her out. We then get to see how people might find themselves in the real world, spirit realm, or both at the same time to reach new places and investigate areas.

Here’s the new The Medium gameplay video.

As a reminder, this Blooper Team horror game has a rather familiar face involved with it. Akira Yamaoka, who’s known for his work on Silent Hill, No More Heroes, and Shadows of the Damned, composed the soundtrack for this title.

The Medium will appear on the Xbox Series X and PC on January 28, 2021.
