The New Job In Chocobo’s Dungeon DS Is…

Red Mage. The boring, but versatile Red Mage class beat out Summoner, Bard, Engineer, and Hero X in a popularity poll where Square Enix members in Japan got to vote on what new job they wanted to include in the enhanced portable version of the game.

Cid is also a playable character in Cid and Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: The Labyrinth of Time DS +. He uses a gun called a “gear” to shoot from a distance and can equip himself with new coats. Since Cid doesn’t play dress up and change classes players customize him by crafting new equipment at workstations scattered inside the dungeon.
