Think Fast! You Have Seconds To Change Tales Of Xillia 2’s Story

Tales of Xillia 2 has a branching scenario and at certain points in the game you can press L1 or R1 to make a decision. Sometimes there is the added pressure of a time limit where you only have seconds to change the Ludger’s future.

Tales of Xillia 2 gives players three weapons to choose from and you can change them by pressing L1 + R1 to cycle forward or L1 + R2 to cycle in reverse. I suppose that will be used for quick switches back to your last weapon.

Ludger, the only character who fights so far, can use twin blades for close range attacks. While these swords have short reach, they can slice and dice monsters fast.

The hammer has much longer reach, but it’s slower than the twin blades. Ludger spins around when he uses it in battle.

The twin pistols let you shoot enemies from afar, but for some reason equipping these slow down Ludger’s movement speed.
