Throwing Your Child Will Be Your Greatest Weapon In Dad Quest

Now up on Kickstarter, Dad Quest has you playing as a Dad on a mission to reach Dad Island. In order to do that you’ll need to raise an indestructible child and it won’t be easy.

Your child is actually your weapon in Dad Quest. You chuck them at monsters to dish out damage. The energy from defeated monsters can then be channelled into your child to make them more powerful and learn new skills. You can also equip your child with toys and heirlooms to upgrade their abilities.

It’s not just monsters you have to deal with, either. In order to be granted passage to Dad Island you’ll need to defeat other Dads in battle. Each Dad passes on an ability when defeated, too, so you’ll learn new tricks as you progress.

The creators of Dad Quest are seeking $8,000 on Kickstarter and, if funding is successful, hope to have it finished by the end of 2016.
