ToeJam & Earl Bringing Funk Back To PlayStation 3

Sega has been re-releasing classics like Gunstar Heroes and soon Jet Set Radio as PlayStation Network downloads. ToeJam & Earl is coming next.

Sources tell Siliconera that the two Sega Genesis games ToeJam & Earl and its side-scrolling sequel ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron are slated for re-release as part of Sega’s Vintage Collection.

ToeJam & Earl, if you never played it before, has a good sense of humor and roguelike mechanics at its core. Players have to search for ten spaceship pieces on randomly generated maps. ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron went in a different direction and has players capture earthlings who somehow got to Funkotron in jars.
