To avoid spoiling the anime series for North American viewers Tomy skipped the 2D platfomer Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 3 and went straight to Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 4 which became Naruto: Ninja Council 3 in the USA. Just to make naming even more confusing Naruto: Ninja Council 3 was released as Naruto: Ninja Council European Version in Europe. What’s even stranger is Europe has an English version of Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 3 and we don’t. Earlier this month Naruto: Ninja Council 2 European Version was released on the DS which the three year old DS game with Naruto vs Sound Five ninja.
Tomy USA hasn’t announced if they’re going to go backwards and publish Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 3 aka Naruto: Ninja Council 4 in North America, but you aren’t missing out on much unless you like punching snakes. Naruto: Ninja Council 2 European Version has plenty of that. We’ll throw this game in the growing pile of English localizations not found in North America.
