Krai Mira sets players free in an irradiated wasteland of survivors and monsters, letting them do as they please in the game’s open world.
Players can steal whatever they need from NPCs, gamble their remaining currency in machines and with other characters, or lose more than money against the monsters, raiders, and other monstrosities roaming the land in turn-based combat.
Players can try to avoid a fight using stealth and avoiding the enemy’s line of sight. If that fails, the player is able to use traps, which range from bee’s nests to explosives, to help even the odds. Barring that, melee and firearms are available to beat the enemies back with.
No matter where the player goes, radiation will be a constant worry. The entire land is irradiated after a nuclear attack, and toxic waste is often just lying around. Should the player build up too much radiation, it will cause mutations that will have unpredictable effects on their stats.
Krai Mira is available now on Steam.
