Turn The Tables With Disgaea 5’s Revenge System

One of the new elements in Disgaea 5 is the revenge system. Each character has a gauge next to their portrait that fills up when they take damage. When it’s full you can activate Revenge Mode which gives you a powerful boost and lets you retaliate with a special technique. This video shows Serafina using her Revenge move which charms the enemy Prinnies.

Did you notice that the enemy Prinny’s revenge gauge filled up too? Both allies and enemies can make use of the Revenge system. The Revenge system adds another layer of strategy to Disgaea since weakened enemies can have a comeback with a timely use of Revenge Mode.

Disgaea 5 is slated for on March 26, 2015 on PlayStation 4.
