If exploring dungeons with a party of samurai and… bears sounds like a neat idea you might want to check out the Elminage series. Two of their first person dungeon crawlers are coming to PSP soon.
The Elminage age kicks of with Elminage Original (pictured), which was rescheduled from an April release to May 19 in Japan. This PlayStation 2 to PSP port includes the face load system, a popular feature from the PSP games where you can use images from a memory stick as player icons. That’s how the bear got in the group.
Elminage III: The Disciple of Darkness and the Solar Palace is a brand new game in the series with a day/night cycle, weather changes, and a dungeon sharing system. This game will be released on PSP on June 30 in Japan. While UFO Interactive usually picks up titles from Starfish, they passed on all of the Elminage games so far. Strangely enough, the published Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War, an action oriented PSP dungeon slasher/maker from Global A, though.
