Sega stealth released The Typing of the Dead: Overkill, a sequel to the keyboard training game with The House of the Dead: Overkill as a base. The game showed up on Steam just in time for Halloween and today it’s getting a multiplayer update.

The patch adds a two player competitive story mode and multiplayer mini-games. Sega also has a Shakespeare of the Dead DLC pack that changes text from UNICORNS to lines from Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Only a concept as wacky as The Typing of the Dead could pull this off. Shakespeare of the Dead costs $2.99 and is the first of many lexicon packs for The Typing of the Dead: Overkill. We expect other royalty free literary works to rise from the grave for the game in the future.
