Barely any details about the collaboration are known about as of this announcement. Universal Studios Japan so far teases that visitors will be able to immerse themselves in battles between the franchise’s heroes and villains. It also published a key art showing the protagonist Izuku “Deku” Midoriya preparing an attack with the Universal Pictures logo as a background.

The Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka is known for holding collaborations with many popular Japanese anime and game franchises. It has previously featured events based on titles like One Piece, Demon Slayer, Hunter x Hunter, and Jujutsu Kaisen. The theme park also held collaborations with prominent gaming companies, such as Nintendo and Capcom.

My Hero Academia will not be the only collaboration to appear in Universal Studios Japan, as it will be part of the Universal Cool Japan 2024 event. The theme park will also open new collaborations with Detective Conan (Case Closed) and Monster Hunter simultaneously on March 1, 2024. However, the My Hero Academia collaboration will last longer as the other two will close earlier on June 30, 2024.

The My Hero Academia collaboration theme in Universal Studios Japan will be available from March 1, 2024, to August 14, 2024.
