Unruly Heroes–A 4-Player Co-Op Action Game Take On “A Journey To The West”

Unruly Heroes is a sidescrolling platformer designed around the Chinese legend “A Journey To The West”, adapting the story’s characters into playable action heroes to be controlled by one to four players.

Unruly Heroes uses a hand-painted art style to capture creatures from Chinese myth, pitting them and other foes against players as they work their way through an adaptation of the storyline. Each of the four playable characters will offer their own unique movesets and specialties, giving each their own feel and appeal as players choose who to fight with. Each characters attacks are highly animated, offering some striking looks as they also devastate enemies.

Players won’t just be fighting foes, as the game does feature some crafty platforming, requiring careful jumps through some puzzle-like mechanisms to complete the characters’ journeys.

Unruly Heroes is set to release in 2018 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
