Upcoming Pokémon Battle Competition Will Let Players Use Certain Legendary Pokémon

A new Battle Competition in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire was recently announced. The international competition will begin on June 24th and will feature double battles. [Thanks, Serebii.]

 

Players will be able to use certain legendary Pokémon in their teams, including Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. However, any other legendaries besides the ones listed as well as Pokémon not caught or hatched in X and Y or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are not permitted for use. Registration for the competition begins on June 16th and ends on June 23rd, while the actual competition will start on June 24th and end June 26th.

 

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are available for the Nintendo 3DS.
