As per New Year tradition, Vanillaware president George Kamitani shared his latest artwork for the company’s New Year greeting illustration, and this time it has the theme of “The Hidden Cave.”
The theme is “The Hidden Cave,” and it features the birth goddess Uzume no Mikoto, the goddess of the sun and universe Amaterasu, and Ame-no-Tajikarao who pulled out Amaterasu from the cave to bring back light to the world.
Last year, George Kamitani’s art was a celebration of the year of the Monkey, but we’re still waiting to hear more about 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, which had its artwork featured back in 2013’s New Year’s card.
