WarioWare: Move It Announced for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo announced a new WarioWare game called WarioWare: Move It during its Nintendo Direct on June 21, 2023. The trailer shows off a collection of some of the minigames that you’ll be able to play. It looks like this game will not be compatible with a Nintendo Switch Lite.

Here is the trailer for WarioWare: Move It:

Since you play the game by holding the two Joy-Cons in your hands, a Nintendo Switch Lite might not be able to run it. How you move while holding the Joy-Cons, as well as how you move the Joy-Cons themselves, are how you have to beat the myriad of funky games that Wario and his friends will throw at you.

Aside from playing on your own, you can connect another pair of Joy-Cons to play with a friend. It looks like only local co-op is available. If you have lots of friends who like to play WarioWare, there’s also a party mode where a maximum of four people can play at once. It looks like party mode will have a variety of ways to play, including a board game mode.

WarioWare: Move It will come out for the Nintendo Switch on November 3, 2023. You can now pre-order it via the online Nintendo store.
