This Week In Imports: Hollow Out Time For Dark Souls II

From Software and Bandai Namco Games has Dark Souls II ready for a worldwide launch. The role playing game makes death even more punishing by reducing your maximum HP all the way down to 50% if you keep dying. Players can create a dual wielding character from the start and if you don’t like the way you build your character it’s possible to respec if you can find a certain item.

Dark Souls II is getting a huge marketing push in the West, but in Japan From Software is self publishing the game just like they did with Dark Souls and Armored Core V. Will their game be a hit at home too?
