Level-5’s Yo-kai Watch series is one of the biggest series in Japan. Not only is Yo-kai Watch 2 a top selling game, the TV show is a hit and character goods are everywhere. Yo-kai Watch 2: Headliner is like a Pokemon Yellow version of the game. Even though this a third version of the game, Yo-kai Watch 2: Headliner has been a top seller in Amazon Japan. Right now, the game is in the top 10 beating Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4 and one of the Pokémon 3DS remakes.
Grand Theft Auto V is another title to watch. Rockstar’s series typically sells well in Japan and the next generation versions come out this Thursday. Shining Resonance from Sega brings the Shining series to PS3 this week and a port of Earth Defense Force 2 with the Air Raider from Earth Defense Force 2025 comes to Vita.
Also, if you’re in North America there’s Suikoden II, which will be re-released as a PsOne Classic. The game will be compatible with PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems.
