Among a blitz of ESRB announcements from Konami and confirmation of Double Dragon’s Xbox Live appearance a listing for “Wing Commander Arena” from Electronic Arts stood out. You might remember Wing Commander from the 90’s where it made cinematic story telling mainstream and for its awful transition to the big screen. After 1998 the franchise vanished from the face of the Earth after Electronic arts closed down Origin Studios. Is Electronic Arts working on an Xbox Live Arcade version of Wing Commander? After Electronic Arts announced that they were bringing back Command and Conquer, anything seems possible.
