Those Without Magic Are Treated As Madmen In One Small Fire At A Time

In visual novel One Small Fire At A Time, now available on Steam and Mangagamer, people without magical power are treated as if they have a mental disorder, getting locked away for their own safety in a world where magic is widespread.

Society looks down on those without magic, which is what has made life so difficult for Janis. Despite keeping to an asylum for most of her life, the 13-year-old girl is still constantly bullied for her lack of powers. One day, a powerful mage and commander steps in to save her, which sets off a series events that will have her getting closer to the other people in her asylum and around the city.

One Small Fire At A Time is a prequel to An Octave Higher, a visual novel about class struggles in a world of magic.
