Xenoblade Chronicles X Story Trailer Depicts Drama Between Earthlings And Aliens

Monolith Soft previously shared a glimpse of an unknown alien race that the humans will stand up against in order to survive in Planet Mira of Xenoblade Chronicles X. The latest trailer shows off a bit more of the game’s story, and how it will involve a conflict around said aliens.

The trailer starts out with planet Earth exploding, following with the quote of “we lost Earth, and came all the way to this planet…” The narration then says, “don’t die, please come back to NLA,” while a vicious battle is seen taking place inside New Los Angeles on planet Mira. It appears that the mysterious alien race seen in earlier trailers aren’t exactly welcoming Earthlings with open arms, and are doing everything they can to eradicate them from  Mira.

An unknown character with white hair and purple eyes is then shown pointing a gun at Elma, telling her “you can either calmly hand it over to us, or fight,” while Lyn shouts “but aren’t we all allies of BLADE?!” It sounds as though there’s some sort of internal drama going on.

Elma explains that future of mankind depends their survival on Mira, and their will to live won’t be altered by anything. At the same time, we see various members of BLADE go up against the hostile alien race with their own Doll-like mecha units.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is slated for release in Japan on April 29, 2015 for Wii U. The game will release in North America and Europe later this year.
